About Us
Sweet and Sons Inc. was originally the Schaefer Agency prior to its purchase in 1947. In 1951 the Sweet's coined the name which it holds today. Our agency has been passed down for generations and is currently owned by Jeff and Dan Sweet.We are proud to have been the first agency in the United States to use Wang/Redshaw
computer systems. This system made us the first automated insurance agency in the US.We believe in providing personal and professional services to our customers. We provide Home, Auto, Dwelling Fire (insurance on investment properties), Umbrella Liability, Life, Commerical Lines (property and liability), and Workers' Compensation.We currently provide personal and Commerical insurance in Pennsylvania. We provide personal lines for Maryland, and Virginia. We offer home insurance in the state of Florida through Universal Property and Slide.The companies we offer are Rockingham, State Auto, Chubb, Foremost, Progressive, Universal Property, Travelers, Liberty Mutual, Slide, Normandy, Lititz Mutual Group and AIC!
